We wish to appoint a Youth Support Worker as part of the expansion of our staff team.
The Churches Trust is supported by the NI Community Relations Core Funding Scheme.
Salary: £10,860.48
Hours: Part-Time 20 hours per week
Part-time position January 2022 – December 2022 (With possible extension subject to funding)
Purpose and function of post:
To support the Youth Personal Development Worker in the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of projects and ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures.
To work directly with children and young people to facilitate their active participation in projects and create opportunities for personal development, good relations, and skills development.
Essential criteria include but are not limited to:
A youth work qualification at OCN Level 2 minimum or equivalent in a relevant discipline
A minimum of 1 years paid or 2 years voluntary experience of working directly with young people GCSEs English and Maths, Grade C or above or equivalent.
